With 15 years of corporate experience in her stride, Smita is a coach, mentor, and General Manager at Coacharya. A former banker, she has worked in the corporate sector and has overseen general banking operations. Acting on her passion for human leadership, she joined a Leadership Development training institute where she was part of the business development side of things. She had finally found her true calling and embraced coaching as a life skill.
She has coached several leaders to move up the ladder in their leadership roles and helped them achieve their goals. She has facilitated programs on ‘Coaching Mindset’ and ‘Leader as a Coach.’ She has also designed numerous customized programs to suit an organization’s needs, in line with its vision, mission, purpose, and leadership principles. Smita firmly believes that she has found her meaning and purpose in life at Coacharya and in coaching. She fervently advocates that everyone is complete in themselves and has the unlimited potential to achieve their goals–personal and professional. Her happy space is supporting people to achieve their goals and the contentment she feels when the client reaches awareness is the most powerful moment for her. “Be You” is the mantra she follows. She strongly believes in the power of meditation and is also a Yoga practitioner.
Smita holds an MBA in Finance. She is a PCC-certified coach from ICF and also holds an Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) from ICF. She is a certified Senior Practitioner from EMCC.
Smita has lived in various cities across India and absolutely loves experiencing the varied cultures she comes across. She loves to read, cook and travel. She currently resides in Bangalore with her husband and two kids.
