The root of discoveries, mighty and small
A shift in perspective, a quiet yet stirring call
The bedrock of transformation
And small, quiet revolutions
More messiness, less perfection
The basis of learning, bright and true
In the pursuit of what’s fresh and new
A constant yearning from the heart
On pre-conceived notions, it won’t start
A series of trying, seeing it through
A shift in perspective, always flowing
Never directive, forever growing
An endless search, a journey’s call
Arriving, moving through it all
The path less travelled, worth knowing
The drive behind freedom’s quest
Courage in forms that are unbridled, blessed
A hungry search, embracing change
A work in progress, wild and strange
A becoming, never fully at rest
Getting done and then undone again
Falling apart, then finding again
Driver of conversations that inspire
Brimming with spontaneous fire
Returning at last to the present entire
A coach’s instinct, their truest power
Basis of growth in every hour
A leap of faith through unknown ground
Transformation can be found
In curiosity’s golden tower
(This poem was inspired by “Fascination and Uncertainty: Curiosity in Coaching,” a webinar featuring distinguished panelists Coacharya Board Member, Training Director and MCC Coach Cindy Muthukarapan, along with Coacharya Trainers Tracy Brown (PCC) and Smita R (PCC). Their insights on the role of curiosity in coaching practice sparked these reflections on curiosity as both a foundational element of transformation and a dynamic force in human connection and growth.
