The Sanskrit word ‘dhyan’ for meditation morphed into Zen in Japanese and Chan in Chinese is not concentration or focused attention as many incorrectly describe it. It’s a state of witnessing and observing with no bias or judgment. One just ‘is’. This is the most aware state of being.
One’s mind takes leave of the senses and no longer controls. Meditation techniques such as ‘vipassana’ and ‘yoga nidra’ elevate us to this disengaged level in which we can move into our natural state and space of energy, beyond the confining boundaries of mind and body.
This is not difficult once you decide to let go of the imprisonment of your mind-body. We shall take you through a process to understand how.
