The policy aims to fulfill the following objectives:
- Define what Diversity and Inclusion mean at Coacharya

Definition of Diversity and Inclusion at Coacharya
Diversity here is defined as the representation of different people in the organization.
Inclusion here means ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to contribute to and influence the workplace.
The word ‘Coacharya’ combines the best characteristics of a Coach, one who inspires a client to maximize potential holistically, with that of the Acharya, a Sanskrit word for a mentor guide who walks with the client without judgment. Our coach training programs reflect our name.
Our programs, including Coaching Foundation, Advanced Coaching, and multiple short courses are open to anyone and everyone who wants to become a coach or simply learn and grow. We do not discriminate on the basis of religion, caste, creed, or ethnicity. We have a diverse team spread across the globe from different ages, gender, socioeconomic status, and religious and ethnic backgrounds.

- All the partner organizations and collaborators
- All the participants who join Coacharya for any event such as peer coaching, webinar, etc.

Grievance Policy
Grievance Redressal for Coacharya Staff
At Coacharya, we aim to build an environment of equitable treatment for all. In order to ensure that our systems allow for the same, we are laying down the steps to solve any grievances that may arise.
Step 1. If an employee faces any kind of discrimination, address the issue directly with the person who caused the grievance. If the issue does not get resolved or the participant does not feel comfortable in approaching the party who caused the grievance, then the participant can proceed to the next step.
Step 2. Inform the immediate reporting manager regarding the incident in writing. The manager will connect with a D&I committee member within 72 hours and understand the next steps to try to resolve the grievance by connecting with the person who caused the grievance and giving the two parties an opportunity to talk and resolve the grievance. In case the participant does not feel satisfied with the intervention, then the participant can proceed to the next step.
Step 3. Inform the D&I committee lead about the incident. The D&I committee will then have a meeting within 72 hours of having received the information directly from the complainant. The D&I committee will reply to the complainant with the next steps as decided by the committee within 7 working days.
