Trained and mentored to MCC

You've earned your PCC and you're ready to refine your craft to the level of true mastery, and hold the credential that recognizes it.

You want to work with senior leaders, complex organizations, and clients navigating the highest-stakes decisions of their careers.

You teach, mentor and supervise coaches, and you want to deepen your standard of practice while developing the next generation of coaches.

You aim to build the credibility and body of work to create coaching cultures, internal coaching functions, and the future of the profession.
By the end of the program, participants will demonstrate coaching skills at and beyond the MCC standard, including readiness for the ICF MCC Performance Evaluation, by:
Developing ethical maturity, presence, and discernment across power, bias, equity, and systemic responsibility.
Cultivating partnership and promoting client autonomy by noticing emerging shifts and clarifying the client’s desired direction as it evolves.
Holding a psychologically safe, non-judgmental space with genuine empathy for the client’s emotions, perspectives, and unique characteristics.
Recognizing the nuances of language, emotion, energy, and behavior, and exploring what the client communicates across multiple dimensions of who they are.
Evoking awareness through masterful inquiry and use of self, using questions, silence, observation, metaphor, and intuition to create transformative moments.
Partnering with the client to translate insights and awareness into sustainable, embodied alignment across every layer of their life and environment.
Coaching at the mastery level with an approach that draws on individual uniqueness, humanistic psychology, Eastern philosophy, and somatic practice, while considering the wider ecosystem and the emerging future.
The Coacharya Distinction

Coacharya is named for the acharya — the teacher who walks alongside the student. Every Coacharya program is built on that principle, and at the mastery level it becomes especially personal: close mentoring, honest reflection, and guidance attuned to how your coaching is evolving. What you receive here is a mentoring relationship at the level a mastery journey deserves.

Our approach draws on Eastern philosophy, modern coaching science, somatic practice, and positive psychology. At the mastery level, this shows up as the ability to work with mind, body, emotion, intuition, and spirit when the stakes are highest, inspiring clients to insights drawn from the full range of information available to them and within them.

Coacharya coaches practice on almost every continent. You will learn alongside seasoned international peers and stay connected long after your program through our peer coaching community, alumni network, masterclasses, and international thought leadership forums. You stay connected to the evolving edge of coaching, keeping your practice informed by emerging industry insights.
Coacharya’s Level 3 program is accredited by the International Coaching Federation, the global standard-setting body for professional coaching. On successful completion, you receive Coacharya’s Level 3 Certificate, which fulfills the education and mentor coaching requirements to apply for the ICF Master Certified Coach (MCC) credential — the highest tier in the ICF’s three-level system (ACC, PCC, MCC).| 80 hours of accredited coach education (40 live + 40 asynchronous) |

I was lucky to have worked with Ram and Cindy. And it doesn’t seem like the program is closed or anything for me, because I still keep in touch with both of them..

Apply MCC markers in live practice to receive targeted feedback, honing the subtle shifts that define true mastery.
Listening beyond words to tone, energy, emotion, and what remains unsaid — engaging the full relational field of the coaching conversation.

The Master Certified Coach (MCC) is the ICF’s highest credential. MCC holders have completed 200+ hours of coach-specific education and 2,500+ hours of coaching experience, hold or have held the PCC, have completed at least 10 hours of mentor coaching with an MCC-level coach, and have demonstrated advanced proficiency across the ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and definition of coaching.
The MCC requires that you hold or have held the PCC credential, so this program is designed for PCC coaches ready to grow into MCC-level practice.
The Level 3 path is for coaches who complete a fully accredited ICF Level 3 program like Coacharya’s, which builds in the 200+ hours of education and 10 hours of MCC-level mentor coaching required for MCC. ICF’s Portfolio Path is for coaches piecing together education from multiple non-Level 3 programs and arranging their own MCC-level mentor coaching. Coacharya offers standalone MCC-level mentor coaching for coaches pursuing the Portfolio Path. Both paths — Level 3 and Portfolio Path — lead to the same credential.
Yes. The ICF requires a cumulative total of 200+ coach-specific education hours for the MCC credential. Our Level 3 program provides the advanced education necessary to build on your prior Level 2 hours to meet or exceed this requirement.
No. Completing Level 3 satisfies the education and mentor coaching components required by the ICF. The official MCC credential is issued directly by the ICF after they assess your Performance Evaluation recordings, confirm your 2,500 coaching hours, and verify your Credentialing Exam status
Two steps. First, the ICF Performance Evaluation: you submit two recorded coaching sessions (20–60 minutes each) with real clients, along with verbatim transcripts. Trained ICF assessors evaluate them against the MCC Minimum Skills Requirements. Second, the ICF Credentialing Exam: a situational-judgment exam covering the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies, and Code of Ethics, delivered through Pearson VUE. If you passed the exam within the last 12 months while earning your PCC, you do not need to retake it.
The MCC Minimum Skills Requirements are the criteria ICF assessors use to score MCC Performance Evaluations. This program is structured around them, so you practice with them from the first week.
During your 15 hours of mentor coaching, you will review your recorded client sessions with an MCC mentor. Your mentor will assist you in selecting two recordings that meet ICF standards.
The Performance Evaluation typically takes 4–6 weeks after your recordings are assigned to an assessor. Once you pass, you have 60 days to schedule and complete the Credentialing Exam.
Yes. Hours completed in an accredited Level 3 program count toward Continuing Coach Education Core Competency requirements. PCC renewal requires 40 CCE units over three years, of which at least 24 must be Core Competency hours. If your renewal cycle falls during or after the program, these hours can count toward that requirement.
Coacharya integrates somatic and embodied practice, psychology, neurobiology, and systemic awareness alongside the ICF Core Competencies. Practice labs are woven through every session, and you receive both group and individual mentor coaching with written and verbal feedback focused on deliberate practice
Whether you’re weighing your MCC path, exploring payment plans, or thinking about MCC development for your organization, we’d love to hear from you.
