The Coacharya Distinction

We integrate Eastern philosophy, somatic awareness, behavioral science, systems thinking, and current trends, so you can coach the full context of a client's life, beyond the presenting issue. You'll learn to work across cultures, and within the systems your clients exist in, in whatever direction your practice is growing.

Coacharya's coaches learn to support meaningful leadership, including their own. Personal mastery, the ongoing practice of vision, awareness, and resilience, is the foundation of our advanced approach. The confidence you build here will inform how you coach, how you widen your impact, and how you lead your life.

Learning thrives in community. Live sessions, mentor coaching, and observed coaching practice sit alongside a structured learning platform, live masterclasses, on-demand content, and Coacharya's global peer coaching community. Your practice is continually observed, challenged, and refined against the ICF PCC standard.

Coacharya’s Level 2 program is accredited by the International Coaching Federation, the global standard-setting body for professional coaching. On successful completion, you receive Coacharya’s Level 2 Certificate of Completion (PCC pathway), which fulfills the education requirement to apply for the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential — the professional tier in the ICF’s three-tier system (ACC, PCC, MCC).

Your Journey
Coacharya’s Level 2 program is built around the updated ICF Core Competencies and PCC Markers, and Coacharya’s integrated approach — weaving in Eastern philosophy, somatic awareness, behavioral science, positive psychology, and systemic and futures-oriented frameworks.
The program is delivered across 14 weekly live sessions, structured in two halves. The first half deepens the core coaching competencies to the PCC standard: coaching presence, deep listening, evocative inquiry, and multi-stakeholder contracting. The second half extends your practice into teams, organizations, and wider systems, and into building and sustaining a professional coaching practice.
The cohort and facilitator get to know each other, set expectations, and map the learning journey. You'll revisit your own coaching identity and clarify what you want to develop at the PCC level.
You'll deepen your practice of the ICF Code of Ethics and explore ethical complexity in real coaching contexts, including cultural competence, neurodiversity inclusion, and equity across every coaching relationship.
Building psychologically safe coaching relationships and group spaces anchored in the coach's competence, care, and congruence, with clients who bring greater complexity, seniority, and stakes.
Co-creating agreements as true partnerships, honoring client autonomy, transparent multi-stakeholder contracting, and what is meaningful to the client. Working with sponsors, HR, and the client together.
Practicing coaching presence and deep listening for content, context, and the unspoken. Working with curiosity and intuition to support the client's self-expression and meaning-making.
Using inquiry that engages the client's critical thinking, surfacing the beliefs and perspectives beneath what is being said. Working with reframes, provocation, and reflective questioning at the PCC level.
Partnering with clients to translate insight into experimentation, integration, and self-directed action. Sustaining momentum between sessions and across the coaching engagement.
Feedback on your coaching against the ICF Core Competencies and PCC Markers. Learning from live demonstrations, observation, reflection and grounding, triads, and discussion.
Coaching teams as a system: contracting with the team, working with its dynamics, and holding the collective agenda while attending to individuals.
Coaching across individual, team, and organizational systems. Responding to the relational, cultural, and future-ready needs that inform the client's context.
Bringing Coacharya's integrated models into a coherent professional coaching approach: Eastern philosophy, somatic practices, positive psychology, and systemic frameworks.
Introduction to coaching supervision. Sustaining a coaching mindset through ongoing reflection and personal development so that ethics, presence, and partnership remain a lived practice.
A second live group mentor coaching session, calibrated against the PCC standard as your coaching continues to evolve.
Credentialing pathways, positioning, and the business of professional coaching. You leave with a clear plan to apply for your PCC and evolve your coaching practice within ethical and professional boundaries.

Included:
No. What you need is completed Level 1 training, meaning the 60 or more hours of coach-specific training ICF requires at that level. The credential itself is optional. Some participants hold an ACC, others don’t, and both start Level 2 on equal footing. Your Level 1 doesn’t have to be from us. If you trained elsewhere, send us the details, and we’ll check them against the requirements before you enroll.
No. Completing 100 client hours is an ICF requirement to claim your ACC credential, not a prerequisite to enroll in Level 2. Admission requires completed Level 1 training, regardless of your current client hour count.
You can continue logging client hours while studying. Throughout Level 2, you’re supported by your cohort, Coacharya’s peer coaching platform, and our global alumni network to help you gain practice opportunities and build your hours alongside your training.
Level 1 builds the foundation of the ICF Core Competencies to the ACC standard. Level 2 furthers the journey: multi-stakeholder contracting, systemic and team coaching, deeper presence and inquiry, more coaching tools and techniques, and all calibrated to the PCC Markers. ICF sets the minimum at 60 training hours for Level 1 and 65 more for Level 2. We run 80 at each level. Take both with us, and you finish with 160 hours, well past the 125 the PCC asks for.
Three levels of ICF credential. ACC is the entry point: 60 training hours, 100 coaching hours. PCC is the professional level: 125 training hours, 500 coaching hours. MCC is the top: 200 training hours, 2,500 coaching hours. Most organizations hiring or contracting coaches look for a PCC.
Yes, and a good number of participants are internal coaches, senior leaders, and HR and L&D professionals. The competencies are the same whether you’re coaching a client or a colleague, and the systemic and team coaching content applies directly to building a coaching culture inside a company.
Sessions are three hours long and run live on Zoom. They’re experiential by design, and every one is a little different depending on the needs of the cohort and where you are in the program. A session might involve exploring a core competency with your facilitator, watching a live coaching demonstration, practicing in breakout rooms, or working through tools and techniques as a group. Group mentor coaching is built in at specific points, where you receive feedback on your coaching alongside your peers.
Between live sessions, you’ll have Coacharya’s learning platform, with reading materials, videos, and reflection exercises that deepen what’s covered in class. You can also join our live webinars and coaching discussion forums, meet one-on-one with your mentor coach, and connect with other participants for practice.
Plan for about 3 hours of live class plus 3 hours of self-paced reading and viewing each week. A few weeks in, we’ll encourage you to start coaching outside of class if you aren’t already, ideally 1 to 2 hours a week, so you begin building practice and logging hours toward your ACC. Our free global peer coaching platform gives you people to practice with from the start.
It’s the credential most organizations look for when they hire or contract coaches, and the ICF’s professional tier — one step up from the ACC
From the start of your coach-specific training. ICF counts hours from then, not from the date you earned a credential, so the hours you logged during and after Level 1 already count toward your 500. Everything you coach during and after Level 2 keeps counting.
This program is a strong fit for internal coaches, senior leaders, and HR/L&D professionals. The same competencies apply, and the systemic and team coaching content is directly relevant to building coaching cultures inside organizations.
Yes. Many Level 2 graduates continue their development toward MCC. Ask us about our pathway to support that.
Yes. You’ll receive Coacharya’s Level 2 Certificate on successful completion of the program, whether or not you choose to apply for the PCC credential.
Graduates are featured on our coaching marketplace, where prospective clients can discover and connect with you. We also reach out to alumni when corporate coaching opportunities arise that align with their backgrounds and focus areas.
Whether you’re weighing your options, exploring payment plans, or thinking about Level 2 for your organization, we are here to talk it over with you.
