A Deep Dive into Impostor Syndrome
November 24, 2021 @ 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM IST
When good things such as a promotion or parenthood happen in our lives, we gain something – an external recognition of our abilities. But soon, feelings of self-doubt and personal incompetence could start to build up, despite our education, experience, and accomplishments. This is called impostor syndrome.
To counter these feelings, we might end up working harder and holding ourselves to ever higher standards.
We have all dealt with impostor syndrome at one point or another. Perhaps you are dealing with it right now. Impostor syndrome can affect anyone, regardless of job or social status. High-achieving individuals are highly likely to experience it.
Join us for a deep dive into Impostor Syndrome this Wednesday. This session will be moderated by Cindy Muthukarapan MCC. We will begin with a presentation by Sushma Chakkirala, Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & co, who has 20 years of experience across the US and India, and has served in leadership roles in both systems and application software companies such as IBM, Intuit and Sun Microsystems. She is a technology and transformational leader, blogger and career coach.
After the presentation, Sushma Chakkirala, Bansri Rajadnye, Sarad Kundu and Cindy Muthukarapan will engage in a panel discussion on the topic.
Each month, in the Masters in Coaching series, a different MCC level coach presents a topic in which they have expertise, and they tie it directly to specific coaching competencies. While any coach will find these sessions valuable, coaches looking for further coaching education will get the most out of these sessions.
