To manage a system effectively, you might focus on the interactions of the parts rather than their behavior taken separately.

Systemic team coaching can potentially revolutionize the coaching landscape. How so?
Delving deeper into the question, this week’s webinar saw a thought-provoking conversation between Coacharya co-founder Ram Ramanathan and Coacharya alumni and PCC coach Dharmesh Shah. The webinar focused on how systemic team coaching differs from traditional team coaching, the pitfalls of organizational silos, and the crucial impact of team dynamics on safety and trust.
Kickstarting the webinar, Ram opened the discussion by addressing the fundamental question of how team coaching is different from systemic team coaching. As the conversation steered further, Ram also divulged the challenges he encountered while advocating a systemic approach. Sharing his experience, Ram asked a very poignant question, “If people cannot be coached together as a team, how can they work together as a team?”
As the webinar progressed, Dharmesh, who has also been a part of Coacharya’s Systemic Team Coaching (ACTC) program, shared why systemic work holds so much promise. Talking about how it involves organizational changes right from the structure to the goals, Dharmesh said that this is a major reason why the systemic coaching approach is so transformational. With so many nuances to cover, the chat box remained alive throughout with questions pouring in about the systemic coaching approach and its key differences from other modalities.
